It Is for Freedom That Christ Has Set Us Free
Jesus Christ has not only forgiven our sins, but has also delivered us from the power of darkness and brought us into His Kingdom. Freedom is therefore part of our inheritance as children of God.
Yet, as in many areas of our faith, a truth secured for us through Christ does not automatically mean that we already experience it in every area of our lives. Freedom must be recognized, received by faith, and lived out. Paul therefore exhorts believers: “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then.”
Different kinds of bondages may have developed in our lives—through sin, occultism, religious bondage, family and generational burdens, sexuality, relationships, or other spiritual influences. Lies that we have accepted about God, ourselves, or other people can also become strongholds and prevent us from living in the freedom Christ has secured for us.
This seminar helps participants recognize such areas and consciously take hold of their freedom. We do not understand deliverance as a passive process in which a particularly anointed or empowered person does something to us. Participants are equipped to take responsibility themselves, close spiritual doors, renounce lies, embrace truth, and act in the authority given to them through Jesus Christ.
Biblical deliverance does not only mean being set free from something, but being set free for a new life under the lordship of Jesus. The freedom we gain should therefore be filled with truth, the presence of the Holy Spirit, and a life under the lordship of Jesus.
The goal of deliverance is not simply to get rid of bondages. Freedom creates space for us to increasingly live as the people we are in Christ and to step into the destiny for which God created us.

Why This Seminar Matters
Jesus has called us to freedom. Yet even believers can carry areas in their lives where sin, lies, or spiritual bondages prevent them from fully living in that freedom.
Whatever binds us also limits our ability to live as the people God created us to be and to fulfill the calling He has given us. Freedom is therefore not an end in itself, but part of our journey into identity and destiny.
That is why spiritual maturity includes not expecting our freedom to come exclusively through others, but learning to stand in the authority of Jesus Christ ourselves, recognize bondages, and actively take hold of the freedom Christ has secured for us.
